Because I feel like I'm asked about once per day which brand of CBD I use (which I'm so happy people are asking about, plant medicine 4eva), I wanted to make sure to pop it in here for easy access. I personally use and love Select CBD, their quality is legit, and I love the different options they have - I personally go for the vape pens (flavored with organic essential oils), and the unflavored drops.
Chicken pot pie is one of the coziest foods known to man, and this is one of the easiest recipes for it ever. It's been my go-to for a while now, and I make a few small tweaks - I replace the whole milk with a small container of grass-fed organic plain Greek yogurt, replace the all-purpose flour with a gluten-free alternative (I use Bob's Red Mill), and use fresh, instead of frozen pearl onions (I cut them into halves or quarters, depending on their size). Also, I make teeny dark chocolate croissants out of the leftover puff pastry trimmings, because, it would be a crime not to.
How overstimulated we've become as a culture has been on my mind a lot lately - and yesterday I learned that the average human experiences more stimulation in one day than the average human did in an entire lifetime 200 years ago. YIKES. No wonder "anxiety" is the word of the decade. To that end, here's a great read about the beauty of re-learning to "waste time" for our personal health, happiness, and success.
If you've been around here for a while, I'm sure you know how much I love my (slightly insane) potion, and my fav brand for the majority of the ingredients I use is Sun Potion. They just released the most adorable little travel kit with all the essentials in mini jars, which'll make staying potion-ed up on the road easy AF (they also sell these minis solo, if you don't want/need the whole 6 pack).
And, because we all need the LOLs, my friend Jill has been tagging me in the most glorious Insta Stories by Danny Pellegrino - check his Highlights for his reviews of Hallmark Christmas Movies that he films while wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket in a house of full-on holiday decor, and prepare yourself for some good old-fashioned holiday fun.
